Osteopathy
I'm Nell, i'm a french osteopath. In 2021 I passed my degree at the Institut des Hautes Etudes Ostéopathique of Nantes. During three years i moved and worked in different cities all around the country to improve my skills and experiences. I'm lucky to have english-speaking friends who helped me to improve my english. According to them, my accent is not bad but I think they keep telling me this to be nice ! If you don't speak french at all, i'm able to manage the whole consultation in english if needed. During my 5-years studying, we also trained our medical english vocabulary.
Osteopathy is a manual therapy. Osteopaths use their hands, muscular technics, osteopathic manipulative techniques and mobilizations to modulate pain.
The consultation lasts approximately 45 minutes to one hour, dedicated to understand how your pain apparead, what triggers it and what is the best way to reduce it. The osteopath also provide advices to help you cope with the pain.
If needed, the professionnal can also advice you to consult another practitionner, such as a doctor, a physio or anybody else if it seems that manual therapy is not the best solution to help you.
No techniques should ever be imposed to you. Feel free to express your apprehensions, preferences or objectives.

I can also receive babies and pregnant women after the three first months of pregnancy.
Pain associated with fever, pain due to trauma and associated with unability to use your limb or to walk requires urgent medical opinion first !
Animal osteopathy
From 2017 to 2022 i also studied animal osteopathy with IFOREC (Institut de Formation en Ostéopathie et Réadaptation Animale). I passed my examen in front of the veterinarian jury, as it is mandatory in France. I'm legally authorized to practice osteopathic manipulative treatment on animals and i work with the number OA1201.
I do consultations where the animal lives. The first minutes will help to understand if there is something wrong the keeper has noticed and if there are some medical issues i should be aware of. Then, after a short time of observation i'll test some mouvements looking for pain or stiffness. Same as with humans, i'll use my hands, muscular techniques, mobilizations, osteopathic manipulative techniques to help the animal feel better in his body.

Saddle-Fitting
Since 2024, I joined the Stübben Saddlery. Stübben is a german brand, one of the oldest saddle maker in the world. In april 2024, i started my training as a sale technician. But this job is so much more than just selling saddles.
Stübben is an avant-garde brand that created the perfect match between performance, comfort, technics and esthetics. All the saddles are built on a dynamic tree and are very adjustables thanks to a wide range of possible panel shapes. The tree points are also adjustable to find the perfect fit and balance for the horse and the rider.
The saddles are adjustables and re-adjustables. As you and your horse are going to evolve and change through time, the saddle can change with you.
As a technician, my job is to find the perfect saddle for you and to make the right adjustment so you can perform and ride the more comfortable way as possible.

What happens during an appointment ?
After meeting you and discussing your expectations, i'll observe the horse on the lunge to see how he moves. After, you may try one or more saddle(s). You'll try each saddle durng a short warm up of your choice and then you can also try during short exercizes depending on your goals, jumping or dressage mouvements for example. During the test, i'll make some adjustments to balance the saddle if needed. If the test is successul, we'll discuss about the options you'd like to find on your saddle.
